Time to prepare your home for fall
It's hard to believe that summer is winding down already here in Maine. While there are definitely a few hot days ahead of us to enjoy the pool and the summer sun to the fullest, the nights have started to get colder and the air is starting to get a bit crisper. Fall is a beautiful time of year in our beautiful state, with so many fun and lovely activities and things to look forward to. However, it is important to prepare your home for every season and fall is no exception! Here are some things you should do to get your home ready so you can thoroughly enjoy the season.
Recent data released from the Pew Research Center has shown that 1 in 5 Americans have moved or know of someone who has moved due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Reasons for moving have included wanting to be closer to family, colleges closing, financial issues, the switch from working in an office to remote worker home, and finding homes that are more conducive in complying with stay-at-home guidelines and safety. For the past few months, the housing market has seen. greater number of buyers than available homes on the market. That seems definitely in line with the moving action that folks are seeing and experiencing during COVID-19.
