Locations Real Estate Group participates in TrashDash 2020
On Sunday, September 20, Locations Real Estate Group was honored to participate in Keep America Beautiful's TrashDash 2020. The event was virtual in nature, asking participates to take part by cleaning up trash anywhere in their community. Our group, organized by Locations' agent Kate Hodgson, focused our efforts on Mill Creek Park and the surrounding area in South Portland. We collected six bags of trash and four bags of recyclables! GoGo Refill, a wonderful local organization dedicated to helping people reduce their use of single-use plastic, loaned us some litter grabbers to use.

It's officially fall! Here in Maine the days are getting shorter, the leaves are changing, and the air is a little crisper. Fall is a beautiful time of year in Maine and it is so good to take advantage of the lovely weather by getting outside and enjoying some seasonal activities. One of the best is apple picking and Maine has a number of fantastic pick-your-own orchards to choose from. According to a new report from Realtor.com, South Portland is one of the hottest zip codes in 2020! Each year, Realtor.com analyzes over 16,000 zip codes to see how quickly homes are selling and how many views listings receive in each. In the top 10 zip codes, the east coast was overwhelmingly dominant, snagging seven spots and New England individually had a strong showing, too. South Portland came in at #5!
