Born and raised on Mount Desert Island, Maine, Jason McFarland went on to receive his BA in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. He managed restaurants in Rhode Island and subsequently southern Maine, and during this time developed an interest in real estate.

What started out as a hobby became his passion and Jason began to pursue a career in real estate. Prior to joining Locations Real Estate Group in 2017, he bought and renovated properties in the greater Portland area. He continues to have a special interest in investment properties, short sales, and foreclosures.

Jason bring to the table many years of experience in customer service. He has a hands-on approach in working with clients to achieve their real estate goals. He is assertive, creative, and enjoys problem solving issues that come up in the buying and selling process.

In his free time, Jason usually reads articles or listens to podcasts about real estate, always looking to stay ahead of the game on market trends. He also enjoys golfing, camping, boating, checking out new restaurants, and spending time with his wife and two children.
